Terms of Service

The ground rules for using PomoTodo — short, and in normal language.

Last updated:

The short version. Use PomoTodo for what it is meant for, look after your password, and pay for a plan if you want the paid features. What you write stays yours. Subscriptions keep renewing until you cancel, and you can cancel any time.

PomoTodo is made by Saiprasad Acharya. By using it you are agreeing to what is on this page. If something here does not sit right with you, email acharyasaiprasad@gmail.com — we would rather talk than have you guess.

Your account

  • Use real details when you sign up, so we can actually reach you.
  • Keep your password to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
  • You need to be at least 13 to use PomoTodo. If you are under 18, check with a parent or guardian first.
  • If you think someone else has got into your account, tell us at acharyasaiprasad@gmail.com and we will help.

Using it fairly

Pretty much what you would expect. Please do not:

  • use PomoTodo to do anything illegal, or to harass or harm anyone;
  • try to break into the app, other people's accounts, or the systems behind them;
  • hammer the service with bots or scrapers, or otherwise make it worse for everybody else;
  • copy the app and sell it on as your own.

If someone is seriously abusing the service, we may suspend their account. We will tell you why if it ever comes to that.

  • Plenty of PomoTodo is free. Some features need a monthly or yearly plan.
  • Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy. Your card details go to them, never to us.
  • Plans renew automatically so the app keeps working, and you can cancel any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next charge, and you keep the paid features until the period you already paid for runs out.
  • Payments are generally not refundable, but if something has gone wrong or you were charged by mistake, email us and we will make it right.
  • If prices ever change, we will tell you beforehand and it will only apply from your next renewal.

Your content is yours

Everything you write in PomoTodo — tasks, boards, notes, comments — belongs to you. We only store and display it so the app can do its job and so people you have invited to a board can see it. Delete it, and we stop.

In return, please only put things in PomoTodo that you have the right to. And if you invite people to a board, remember that you chose who can see it.

Our side of it

The app itself — the software, the design, the PomoTodo name and logo — is ours. You are welcome to use it for your own work, personal or professional, but not to copy it or pass it off as your own.

Honest expectations

PomoTodo is offered as it is. We work hard to keep it running and to keep your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never go down, never have a bug, or never lose anything. If a piece of work really matters to you, keep your own copy of it somewhere too.

PomoTodo is a focus and productivity tool, not professional advice. The timers and calculators are there to help you think, not to make decisions for you.

If something does go wrong, what you can claim from us is limited to what you have paid us in the last twelve months. We are a small operation, and that keeps things sustainable.

Ending things

You can stop using PomoTodo and delete your account whenever you want, no questions asked. We may close an account that is breaking these rules or putting the service at risk, and we will let you know when we can.

If these terms change

We will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you directly if it is something that actually affects you. Carrying on using PomoTodo after that means you are happy with the new version.
