Overnight shifts are handled: if clock out is earlier than clock in, the shift rolls past midnight. Your entries save in your browser, nothing is uploaded.
The timesheet is due and you are reverse-engineering your week from memory, texts, and a parking receipt. Then comes the fun part, adding up times like 8:47 to 5:12 minus a half hour lunch, seven times over.
This does the arithmetic for you. Type the times in, or hit the little now button as you arrive and leave and let the week fill itself in. Breaks come off automatically, overtime splits out at your threshold, and the total shows in decimal hours because that is what payroll wants.
Your entries stay saved in your browser, so Friday you just copy the summary and send it.

Questions
How do I calculate hours worked from clock in and clock out?
Enter your start time, end time, and unpaid break minutes for each day. The calculator subtracts the break and adds up your daily totals into a weekly figure, shown both as hours and minutes and as decimal hours for payroll.
Does it handle overnight shifts?
Yes. If your clock out time is earlier than your clock in time, the calculator assumes the shift crossed midnight and counts it correctly.
How is overtime worked out?
By default anything over 40 hours in the week is paid at 1.5 times your rate. Both the threshold and the multiplier are editable, so you can match your local rules or your contract.
